Auspicious time of Chaitra Navratri: According to the Panchang, this year the Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will start on 8th April at 11.50 pm and will end the next day on 9th April at 8.30 pm. Therefore, according to Udayatithi, Chaitra Navratri will start from 9th April and end on 13th April.
Offerings for 9 days of Navratri:
First Day: Goddess Shailputri: Chaitra Navratri Pratipada Tithi (9 April) Goddess Shailputri is worshiped on the first day of Navratri. On this day, offer sweets made of ghee to Mata Rani.
Second Day: Goddess Durga: Chaitra Navratri Dwitiya Tithi (10 April) On the second day of Navratri, worship the Brahmacharini form of Goddess Durga and offer Panchamrit to her.
Third Day: Goddess Chandraghanta: Chaitra Navratri Tritiya Tithi (11 April) Goddess Chandraghanta is worshiped on the day of Navratri. Offer sweets made from milk to Goddess Chandraghanta.
Fourth Day: Goddess Kushmanda: Chaitra Navratri Chaturthi Tithi (12 April) Goddess Kushmanda is worshiped on the fourth day of Navratri and offering Malpua to her is considered auspicious.
Fifth Day: Goddess Skandamata: Chaitra Navratri Panchami Tithi (13 April) On the fifth day of Navratri, offer sugar or banana to Goddess Skandamata.
Sixth Day: Goddess Katyayani: Chaitra Navratri Shashthi Tithi (14 April) On the sixth day of Navratri, offer sweet paan to Goddess Katyayani.
Seventh Day: Goddess Kalratri: Chaitra Navratri Saptami Tithi (15 April) On the seventh day of Navratri, worship Goddess Kalratri (Maa Kalratri) as per the rituals and offer her sweets made of jaggery.
Eighth Day: Goddess Mahagauri: On the eighth day of Chaitra Navratri Ashtami Tithi (16 April), offer coconut to Goddess Mahagauri.
Ninth Day: Goddess Siddhidatri : Chaitra Navratri Navami Tithi (17 April) On the ninth day, worship Goddess Siddhidatri and offer her kheer, puri and halwa.
